Edwin Lutyens is most remembered for his amazing architectural designs, such as Hampton Court Bridge in London, the India Gate in New Delhi, the British Ambassadors residence in Washington, DC and scores of iconic country houses scattered across England. His designs of furniture have also stood the test of time, with the Lutyens bench being a mainstay of garden style. This solid little table is a Lutyens design, crafted in solid oak and displaying the clean, unfussy lines that he was known for. A great find.
