Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944) is considered one of England’s greatest architects and his collaborations with Gertrude Jekyll created some of Great Britain’s most beautiful houses and gardens. He designed this bench to use in his gardens, and the Lutyens style bench has become iconic. We were able to find several of these well-made pieces on our most recent buying trip to England. The teak has weathered to a soft, silvered grey and each is in excellent condition.
