What a piece of adventure history! This oak canoe frame was used my mappers and charters in the 1930’s and 40’s to navigate the waterways and channels of England. It would have had a canvas or wax cloth skin over it, and after a job was finished, it would be disassembled and packed up in a canvas bag-which we have-to journey to the next location. So cool to hang from a ceiling.
